The successful candidate will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and preparing offers. Your expertise in talent acquisition will be instrumental in ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge in the constantly evolving news and marketing services landscape.

Medium Giant is an award-winning and full-service digital advertising and marketing services agency based in Dallas. Our services include creative services, marketing strategy, media planning and buying, website development, and selling the owned and operated media assets of The Dallas Morning News. Medium Giant's clients are located throughout the United States.

Responsibilities 

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies tailored to each role and department within the news, marketing, and advertising industry.

  • To identify and attract qualified and diverse candidates, utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.

  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and skills.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience. 

  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and hiring managers to facilitate the offer process, including extending offers and conducting background checks.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. 

  • Participate in employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts to enhance our reputation as an employer of choice in the news and media sector.

Job Requirements

  • 5-7 proven experience as a corporate recruiter or talent acquisition specialist, preferably within the news and marketing services industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment techniques, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment methods.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices.
