1. Can I translate Growing Texas to another language?

  • Yes, we highly recommend using Google Chrome browser with Google Translate Extension installed to your Chrome browser (for desktop/laptop use).

2. How do I search/browse for job opportunities?

  • We provide 6 job search methods, click the links below:

1) Basic TEXAS JOBS SEARCH. Basic Search is always located at the top of each web page.

2) HOME PAGE / BROWSE JOBS BY LABELED TABS

3) HOT FEATURED JOBS LIST

4) ALTERNATE TEXAS JOB SEARCH PAGE

5) GROWING TEXAS EMPLOYERS DIRECTORY, each profile lists jobs specific to the employer (if they have posted).

6) Scroll the Featured Star Employers banner located on each web page. Click the employer logo.

3. To apply for jobs, do I need to register?

  • Yes

4. Is the Growing Texas website device/mobile friendly?

  • Yes
  • Open the Growing Texas website with your device browser (iOS or ANDROID) and add/save to your device home screen.
  • However, we recommend that accessing ANY employment related website is going to be most effective by using a larger screen (or Pad), or a desktop/laptop at first.

5. What is required to register at Growing Texas?

  • Only First and Last Name with e-mail address. JOB SEEKER REGISTRATION.
  • For authentication and identification purposes, Email addresses are verified.

6. What happens after I'm verified and registered?

  • Log in and and use your "Dashboard" tool to manage your job seeker account.
  • Create and manage your talent profile/resume at any time.
  • Also set up job alerts, while logged in.

7. Can I create multiple talent/resume profiles?

  • Yes, depending on your Work-Life Convenience requirements, 2 or 3 profiles (at most) should work.
  • We do not request or collect any physical address or important personal information.
  • As an account holder, your resume content is your responsibility.

8. Can I control employers searching and viewing my talent profile/resume?

  • Yes, each talent profile created has 3 settings...Active, Hidden, and Anonymous
  • Users can also block specific employers

9. How do I stay current on new job alerts?

  • You must be registered AND logged in to create job alerts.
  • Create job alerts to automatically receive notifications via e-mail.
  • Once you have created job alert(s), you can manage each alert from your "Dashboard."

10. Can I save job postings I'm interested in?

  • Yes, you must be registered AND logged in
  • Saved jobs are managed in your "Dashboard" until you choose to delete them.
  • If a job expires and is removed from the system, you cannot recover the saved job.

11. Can I track the jobs I've applied to?

  • Yes, you must be registered AND logged in
  • "Applied to" jobs are tracked in your "Dashboard."

12. If I want to delete my job seeker account, what do I do?

  • Contact Us to delete your account and all information.
