At Magnolia, the Digital Media Associate is a Magnolia ambassador who is responsible for executing, monitoring and optimizing paid media campaigns that generate demand and traffic for Magnolia’s DTC ecommerce business. The associate will work across a wide variety of platforms within social, search, display and affiliate channels. Their mission is to support Magnolia’s marketing campaigns including product launches, sitewide promotions and evergreen paid media initiatives. This position works from Magnolia Headquarters in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Performance Marketing Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Uphold Magnolia’s manifesto and values 
  • Manage day-to-day operations on all media platforms including budget, campaign, creative optimization and performance reporting 
  • Manage the smooth execution of campaigns by overseeing the entire process of trafficking and gathering all necessary creative elements well before the launch date 
  • Deploy campaign tactics like optimizing keywords, managing audience lists, creating bid strategies, A/B testing and campaign tracking 
  • Provide QA support on all ad units to ensure optimal performance   
  • Drive successful collaboration between affiliate and PR teams to strategically manage opportunities and maximize impact within the affiliate channel 
  • Support Magnolia’s marketing calendar by working closely with creative and ecommerce teams 
  • Assist the Performance Marketing Manager with weekly and monthly reporting insights for core KPIs focusing on ROAS, revenue generation and website traffic 
  • Support the Performance Marketing manager with quarterly budget planning, traffic and revenue forecasting 
  • Perform other duties as assigned  

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Hard skills: Proven experience with Google/Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads and other Affiliate (Impact, CJ, Rakuten) and Digital Display Networks (Criteo, AdRoll); experience analyzing campaigns with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and Google Docs preferred; experience with Channel Advisor, GoDataFed, SEMrush, MOZ, SpyFu, and Similarweb preferred 
  • Soft skills: Strong verbal communication skills 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university required 
  • Experience: 2-4 years of related work experience required including proven work experience on marketing teams and digital campaign management; retail e-commerce experience highly preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
